Fall 2019 Advanced Graphics and Interactions

For this project the requirement was to create something using AR and to visualize data. Also, the theme was unsustainability. We started with a brainstorming session about what we wanted to create. Since this project was ending in december 2019, Christmas quickly became the main theme for our game with consumption as the unsustainable input.

We divided our work where some focused on 3D-printing our Chritmas stand, some created the Christmas tree and present in AR and some focused on creating the fire.

The Technique

To create this game the team chose to develop in Unity and Vuforia. Some members of the team had never worked with AR before and was very eager to learn! The Christmas stand was 3D-printed using a UtilityMaker S5. For communication, Github, Facebook Messenger and Google Drive were used.
